trading Doc?

During the Blue Jays recent slide, their inability to hit and pitch is showing admirably. They Jays either get 9 runs in a game, but when this happens the other team also scores 9 runs. If they Jays get 4 runs, the other team gets 5, that is just how things are playing out lately. Amid all this turmoil on diamond, there is now the speculation that JP Ricciardi is listening to offers for Roy Halladay. To this I ask why not? The whole point of being a GM is to try to make your team better, and maybe this means trading away one of, if not the best pitcher in the game to get some assets in return. They Jays rotation is decimated by injuries. At one point this year, every single pitcher projected for the starting rotation was on DL, including Halladay. Halladay was the first AL pitcher to 10 wins this year, but has lost his last 2 starts to the Rays. So i ask why not deal the Doc? A deal to the Dodgers has been rumored, with Clayton Kershaw being involved. Imagine the rotation: 1. Kershaw, 2. Marcum 3. Richmond 4. Romero 5. Tallet, still a pretty formidable rotation, even without the Doc. But this isnt and wont be a Halladay for Kershaw straight up deal, remember that there are bats coming the blue birds way.
